Hedi Slimane
Saint Laurent's highly anticipated spring collection, perhaps even more of an occasion as the first womenswear show by Hedi Slimane for the fashion house, was part hyper-tailored rock-and-roll - double-wide brimmed fedoras, skin tight black legging-ish pants, cropped sequin jackets, wide pussy bow neckties - and part high-fashion Salem Witch Trials - same oversized hats paired with gothic, floor-length, lace-up gowns in a variation of cuts and fabrics and very little color.

Marine Van Outryve walked her first Spring show in Paris in Guillaume Henry's newest Carven collection. Carven's clothes were stately, somewhat reminiscent of Kristen Scott Thomas' wardrobe in The English Patient - Guilluame described it as, "Lost in India in the middle of the twentieth century," - with hyper-tailored separates in thick fabrics, A-line skirts that hit just below the knee, and detailed cut-outs, like Marine's looks. She looks divine.
